I was guessing that Loki only knew that Jack was "special" because he found out that he'd downloaded the ancients. But that that's what he'd been testing for when he was capturing people.
I loved the bits of that ep that weren't so much about alien abduction. I'm still reeling over how great a Jack that kid did. Maybe too good -- were any of us that "us" that early on?
Maybe Jack's generation is the culmination of the Earth's programming by Deep Thought.
Wait -- Jack Handey is on Stargate?
Singular, not plural.
But they're all so... Deep... And Thoughtful. How did they pick just one?
I hateHATEhated the implication that Jack has a special brain/genetics (that was mentioned in the Jack 2.0 episode). Keep him normal, thanks. (Though not dumb, RDA, if you could)
Wordy mcWord, ita. To all of the above.
Coulda been midichlorians. Btw, they had Stargate comics at the store today. Did you know y'all know that?
Midichlorians, you mean?
Maybe they're Maxichlorians.
Midichlorians, you mean?
Yeah, them. Could you be a dear, and go fix my joke? Oh never mind, I'll do it.
Maybe too good -- were any of us that "us" that early on?
That kid did a real spot on job. He's still Big Jack in the head though, if not in body. I don't think any of us were as us back when we were younger us's. It's the ultimate 'if I knew then what I know now' bit for him. Wouldn'g you just love to see the school bully try to pull something?
Wouldn'g you just love to see the school bully try to pull something?
Errr. Unless he's been practicing, I don't think that body has the muscle memory (or the mass) to do much damage. Still.
David, no, didn't know about the comics. But I'm not much for comics, anyway, at least not for show-based comics. I keep comparing the art to the actors, and it never ends well. ::shrugs::
