Last nights marathon was a cornucopia of episodes I'd never seen before, save the last one in the run.
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
And now I have. My goodness, that was a silly silly show. And they sure intended Caroline to be a more major character than I ever really got from other episodes.
It was. And yet, I love it so much more.
Caroline struck me, as I was watching this, as though she should have been what Stella was to RayK, if they'd done it properly; but they never did. They dropped her almost as soon as they introduced her. Fanfic has made her a much more important character than she really was in the show.
I think the secret with Stella may have been introducing her later, rather than at the very beginning. It's hard enough to get a hold of main characters in the pilot -- figuring out the ambiguity and messed-up-edness of their relationships with former spouses is a bit much to ask.
Or, that could be the beer. The beer likes to type. I should go write fanfic.
Okay, I need to know, after reading it for months and months and months -- how does one pronounce "Teal'c"?
Tealk? Teal-cee? Teal[click]sss?

Heh, heh. Well, you'll hear Tealk, and Tilk. I prefer Tealk.
ETA:
Teal[click]sss?
This is cracking me up.
I say "Tee-alk."
It's written just like it sounds.

Yeah, like goa'uld.
goa'uld.
And how might one pronounce this?
Go-awled? Go-a-oooled?
Depends on which character you ask and how lazy they're feeling that day. Technically "go-ah-ooold", often just "gooold".
