Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

He gives an amazing hug to Sam where you can tell he's receiving and giving solace with equal intensity and commitment.

::melts into a puddle of goo::

OK, I have to watch this scene right now. Thankfully, I can, through the miracle of DVDs. Woo-hoo!

That hug in... "Into the Fires" I think, is probably my favorite, up there with the one Jack gives Daniel in season 2 opener ("Space monkey!". Aw.)

Uh, I'm not sounding like those scary people in that salon article, aren't I? t /worried

He's a great leader, sentimentally pragmatic. It's like he shaves with Occam's razor, and uses fairy dust for aftershave.

This is still making me smile ... may I tag?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to have to keep my eye out for that hug, Vonnie. I don't think it's one of the eps I ran to tape.

Jen -- I'd be flattered.

Witness shiny new tag. (I'm kind of proud of the attribution wording, if I do say ...)

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

As usual is the case when I watch the show, after "Into the Fire", I told myself, "What the hell, let's watch another one". So I'm watching "Seth", and in comes the head of ATF with whom the team butts head in the compound, and it's played by the same guy who reluctantly squired around Bregman and his crew in "Heroes". They had same guy play two different characters on the same show! That feels like cheating somehow.

Also, Teal'c just told his Setesh guard joke, and nobody laughed at it! Poor Teal'c. I thought the joke was pretty funny.

Loved that. And you have a good, good eye re: the doubling up.

The Setesh joke was hilarious.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Uh, I'm not sounding like those scary people in that salon article, aren't I?

No no, you sound happy and enthusiastic. Totally different vibe from Daniel Is The Second Coming Of Christ.

They had same guy play two different characters on the same show! That feels like cheating somehow.

Remember, Seth is also Daniel's father from Gamekeeper.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

up there with the one Jack gives Daniel in season 2 opener ("Space monkey!". Aw.)
