Simon: Captain's a good fighter, he must know how to handle a sword. Zoe: I think he knows which end to hold.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Awww. That would make me sad. But, I guess that losing anyone that will "affect SG-1 forever" or whatever the promo said is going to be sad making. Yeah, and I'm pretty much not too worried about Jack. Or Sam, Daniel, or Teal'c for that matter. Then again, I'm unspoiled and naive, so what the hell do I know? You'd think ME would've broken me of my naiveté WRT character deaths. And yet ... NSM.

Always Anti-fascist!

So sad that I missed the crime-show discussion way up-thread(We're not, you say) SA's tag makes me smile. SVU is like Smallville in a badness-but-can't-stay-away-way. Could Detective Benson be on the same deserted road with Lana, please? Her mom's dead too, and she Never Knew Her Dad, The Disgusting Rapist. They could have cry-face contests...I almost want her and Elliot to have The Sex so he could say "You know, Liv...Who's your daddy isn't supposed to be literal."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OK, Peggy Hill on KING OF THE HILL just officially crossed the line from neurotic twit to total bitch. However, nice seeing Bill having fun for once.

And it was short lived. Oh well. Peggy is still a massive bitch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

SG1 (maybe) question: I'm remembering an episode of a sci fi show where a paranoid conspiracy type stumbles onto the show's secret. Panicking and handwaving ensue, and the secret is preserved (kinda like Sight Unseen) but the ep ends with the paranoiac on a TV show trying to be heard, since they didn't buy the cover story. He seems pathetic.

Was it an SG1 episode? Does anyone remember it at all?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Sounds like the Farscape episode Kansas, ita, with the sheriff's deputy.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

No, she's right there is one. I'll go check Gateworld. Back soon.

There's the one where the guy is paranoid about alien conspiracies because he is an alien, but his memory had been wiped. It was the set-up episode for the hundredth episode. The names of both of these escape me. The second was Wormhole X-Treme, maybe. He didn't end up on tv, but he did make a tv show.

No, not that one, unless he ends up on a talk show, which I don't recall.

I'd assumed it was a Stargate episode, but it seemed a little harsh for the show -- Farscape would work, though.

Hmmm... I do seem to recall the sheriff guy trying to convince people about aliens using carved vegetable visual aids on a talk show. Ring any bells?
