There's the one where the guy is paranoid about alien conspiracies because he is an alien, but his memory had been wiped. It was the set-up episode for the hundredth episode. The names of both of these escape me. The second was Wormhole X-Treme, maybe. He didn't end up on tv, but he did make a tv show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, not that one, unless he ends up on a talk show, which I don't recall.

I'd assumed it was a Stargate episode, but it seemed a little harsh for the show -- Farscape would work, though.

Hmmm... I do seem to recall the sheriff guy trying to convince people about aliens using carved vegetable visual aids on a talk show. Ring any bells?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

There was one in Season 4 called Point of No Return that the short summary is about a conspiracy theorist.

Checked the Gateworld again. Season 5's Wormhole Xtreme is about the same character.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sad about PH, KB. She used to be so reasonable, if uptight, and possessed of Spanish that could make the baby Jesus cry.

That's Farscape. Rygel carved a pumpkin that looked like Scorpius, and the Sheriff used it as evidence.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah. Stargate's guy-who-found-out never went on a talk show.

Yes! Thank you. I've been assuming for months that I'd see that episode of SG1 in rotation, and it only just now occurred to me that I'd seen all the paranoid eps recently, plus SG1 isn't that hard on their folks.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I'm listening to the commentary on Window Of Opportunity right now, AIFG! I've watched a few commentaries from the S4 DVDs here and there, but found most of them fairly dry. This one seems much more animated and fun than the other ones I've listened to thus far--probably due to Peter DeLuise thrown into the mix. But then, it's WoO after all.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've only watched a few of the commentaries, Vonnie, but that one does seem like the cream of the crop so far.

It took someone on LiveJournal to point out that the reason that the PR Officer who was riding herd on the film crew in "Heroes" seems familiar is that he played the (now dead) Sheriff on Smallville.
