Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

'Objects In Space'

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Yup! Are we sure that Angel will continue to be on Mondays?

Elena, how's Brian feeling? I don't get to see my ENT again until February. I think I need to get some "happy pills" to tide me over.

I don't see why it would change but I'll keep an eye on my TV Guide to see if there is any news on that.

Why would it change? To spite us. Or as a punishment for feeling smug about getting Buffy and Angel before the Americans. Whichever.

That's very conspiracy minded of you Ouise!

Our wings are not tired.

Hello Canadians! Yes, I'm evil and already watched. Looking forward to discussing it later. Wow! Happy now.

Thanks for all the fish.

Ouise, I have already taunting the gang about getting both Buffy and Angel before them... We better not fall behind.

Megan, they just called Brian for his second CT scan - February... Are you going to ask for more prednisone?

Poor Ouise with the bad day.

Megan E. - Jan 06, 2003 6:00:25 pm PST #935 of 6793

Are you going to ask for more prednisone?

If he doesn't schedule my surgery for months and months, yes I will. I am tired of all the drugs though, but it's better than feeling sorry for myself all the time.

Poor Brian. =(

So, what did people think of Buffy? It was good, but no real memorable moments and lines. I knew that Eve was evil from the start too.

Thanks for all the fish.

Okay, you know what? I'm bored. Really. That seemed forced. The pop culture references are too obvious (except for my tagline, which seemed very much in character), and that was the plan? That? Getting beat to pieces as an object lesson to the girls? Why not just decapitate him (ooh, with a circular saw) before he bludgeons you? The girls would still get it.

Also, in the telepathic voice over, Buffy's voice did not sound like herself. Still, I liked that Xander seems to be very much key guy.

The actress playing Eve had an accent that kept coming in and out. And Kennedy annoys the piss out of me. Or maybe it's just the Kennedy/Willow that does.

Thanks for all the fish.

And Eve had a funny scrunched up face.

Megan, I know that you're tired of drugs... And predinose has some nasty side effects, but if you want to smell....
