Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Hey. Megan, how many postcards do you want?

Ouise, if you frequently get cankers try switching to a SLS free toothpaste like Tom's of Maine. And don't use mouthwash - alcohol will only irritate it.

Joyce, in the dreams, kept touching Buffy, or handing her things. They made a point of it. I think that she's good, or at least Buffy's subconscious. Giles is dead, and a manifestation of the First.

Oh, yes, saw TTT this afternoon. It did not seem like a 3 hour long movie.

And I bought 4 pairs of shoes.

What's SLS?

sodum laurel sulfate. It's a common surfactant, but some people with chronic canker sores improve when they switch.

Thanks Elena.

I've been taking L-Lysene tablets once a day, for years, which seem to help. Also, my doctor gave me a mild steroid ointment which I apply if one starts to appear. I top off the ointment with Kanka, which I like because it relieves the pain *and* acts as a liquid bandage even inside the mouth.

Thanks for all the fish.

Betnesol pellets, if you have them in the US, are good, too, if there is considerable inflammation. Also, there is an ulcer medication, Sulcrate, that can be dissolved in water and used as a mouth rinse. It adheres to open mucous membranes (to raw meat, is how it was taught to us) and protects it and allows it to heal.

Elena, I'll take 6 postcards, or 4, depending on how many you have.

Thanks for all the fish.

I have two made, and can easily make you four more when I get to work on Friday. I'm there at 7pm. See you shortly thereafter.

Going to ENT in an hour. I'm more nervous this time than I was last time because I'm concerned about the relapse I've had. Will post more later.

B. and I are going to the 4:00 viewing of TTT... will go to see Elena right after. Elena, 2 postcards is fine!

At 1:00 today I am going to have cortisone injections up my nose. This should last longer than the prednisone did. I can't tell you how excited I am to get a needle in my sinus. Whoopie.
