Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I agree. I don't think he's the First Evil. I think the Coven from Devon have helped him manifest on Earth in order to help fight the slight apocolypse.

Megan, I won't be downtown again until Friday 7pm - but if you want the postcards let me know.

Elena, I do want some. I'll come see you Friday evening. Did you go see LoTR:TTT last night?

I'm standing in the fakeout dead denial corner for now.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I feel all pathetic. Can I whine at you for a bit?

I'm having trouble finding things to eat because of this stupid lactose intolerance, I'm still kind of sick, I have a big canker right where it rubs against my lower eyetooth, and the wisdom tooth on the same side has started growing again. I hate today.

I'm going to buy a bunch of groceries this evening, which will help with the food thing. Hopefully that will make me feel better in general. I'm seeing a doctor on Friday too. I just really hate it when I have a canker when I'm already feeling miserable, because it stops be from treating the pre-existing miserableness with chocolate. It's just no fair.

I also want to issue a correction: it was Nora, not Joanne who said "And now the house blows up" during Buffy's speech. Now I'm kind of wishing it had - it would certainly have livened up the speculation!

Ouise, I get cankers a lot too from my night mouthguard that I sleep in. I've found that the best medicine is Fletcher's Sore Mouth Medicine. It's a liquid that you put on the sore and it takes away the hurt for a bit but without the stickiness of other brands like Anbusol or Kanka.

I hope you're feeling better soon. =(

I had typed up a whole rant about Canada Post but it got eaten. Here's a summary.

1) CP has lost a letter that they tried to deliver and said would be at SGR Lawtons for pickup on Tuesday. It's still missing and being traced.

2) Went to Scotia Square Lawtons to see if the missing letter was there and they found another package for us that we did not get a delivery notice for.

3) Found a package sitting in front of my apartment door this morning. They didn't buzz our apartment or knock to let us know we had a delivery.

ARGH!

Maybe your super brought it up? I don't think CP would bring it to your door.

Anyway don't gripe about Canada Post to loudly or you'll never see you mail again!!!!! ; ) (Okay, I'm only half joking about that...)

'Ouise, I hope you're feeilng better. I usually gargle with salt water for cankers. It stings at the time, but you feel a lot better later.

Super doesn't live in this building so it's really doubtful. I hate to complain to them but they seem to have a lot of conflicting policies about 1) which outlet to take our mail to if were not here 2) when to bother to leave a delivery notice and 3) whether to just leave stuff lying around.

The letter that they have misplaced has cheques in it. I think my parents should have sent it registered, especially at this time of year.

Mmmm, I have usually three different ones they go to and it always seems to be at the most inconveinient. It depends on the driver, as much as on where you are.

Yikes!

Thanks for the canker suggestions. I use salt water and Kanka, but Kanka hurts a lot. I'll check out the Fletcher's stuff.

I just went to the grocery store and bought some frozen prepared foods, as well as some soy flour. I'm going to do some baking with the soy flour, which will help with getting enough protein. I can do this.

Megan, how frustrating! I hope they find your letter.
