Don't tell me, Brian Dennehy is playing a crusty old ex-cop with a chip on his shoulder, who actually has a heart of gold. Unless he's still a cop then he's corrupt, but full of regret.

(I think he's great, but typecast much?)

Caroline Dhavernas, of the late, lamented Fox series Wonderfalls, and Craig Ferguson of the still-going (and lamented) sitcom The Drew Carey Show are among the announced cast of Gary Yates's upcoming film The Niagara Motel, which is scheduled to start production in town Aug. 30.

The film, a Canadian/U.K. co-production with Muse Entertainment, Indian Grove Productions and Buffalo Gal Pictures, is scripted by playwright George F. Walker and Dani Romain. It was adapted from Suburban Motel, a cycle of six plays set in the same motel room.

I've been lurking for a couple of months now. The board's been pretty Nilly-oriented for most of that. Still enjoyable. I especially like COMM.
