Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Thanks for the link, ita - that site had the info I was looking for.

Caroline Dhavernas, of the late, lamented Fox series Wonderfalls, and Craig Ferguson of the still-going (and lamented) sitcom The Drew Carey Show are among the announced cast of Gary Yates's upcoming film The Niagara Motel, which is scheduled to start production in town Aug. 30.

...

The film, a Canadian/U.K. co-production with Muse Entertainment, Indian Grove Productions and Buffalo Gal Pictures, is scripted by playwright George F. Walker and Dani Romain. It was adapted from Suburban Motel, a cycle of six plays set in the same motel room.

[Huh. The source of the article is the local paper. Doh! I obviously missed the blurb in question and so did my friend Brad. How embarassing.]

Hey, all. Has there ever been a face2face for buffistas in HRM? Any plans for one?

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Hi quinbot. We actually meet fairly often. There's been an unusually long gap recently, but we'll probably meet for supper or something. Do I intuit that you are also in the area?

Yes, Dartmouth.

I'm from Dartmouth myself, although I live in Halifax now. Did you just discover the Buffistas recently, or have you been lurking for a while?

I've been lurking for a couple of months now. The board's been pretty Nilly-oriented for most of that. Still enjoyable. I especially like COMM.

Well, it's nice to have you onboard and positing. Welcome, again.

on edit. Ok, I meant posting, but positing is way more fun. Typo stays.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

I may be in Halifax for a week this month (Sept. 12-19 or thereabouts). Is there anyone who still hasn't seen the unaired Wonderfalls episodes who wants to? I remember ages ago I promised I'd bring them on my next Halifax trip if any Buffistas wanted to have a little get-together and watch them. Of course, that was before you could get the episodes through other means...
