Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, yes, Friday was fun.

Sue, what, exactly, is in that bag for Trudy? Because both cats are going insane. They're sticking their heads directly into the bag, fighting over the bag, licking the bag. I had to put it on the mantle!

Thanks for all the fish.

I've had an interesting morning. Woke up at 3, futzed around, made a nutrious breakfast of hot dogs and french fries, set off the fire alarm (Brian, from upstairs 'Dr. Penfield?'), watched yesterday's Enterprise (not to be confused with 'Yesterday's Enterprise') and came to work.

Damn, but Enterprise sucks.

One week until Trudy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the fish.

Guys, I've printed out the Firefly postcards. I'm at Spring Garden all day if you want to drop by to get one.

Damn, I was just downtown at Atlantic Photo! I'll try to stop by later.

I could hardly watch Enterprise last night. The actress who played the princess or whatever was so bad. And Trip is really getting annoying.

Thanks for all the fish.

OH, she was the worst actress ever. She was worse than Glory.

As for Trip... He was my favourite, but they seem determined to ignore the obvious Trip/T'Pol dynamic in favour of an Archer/T'Pol... Anyway, I've quit watching this season. My god, what a massively cliched episode! All I could think was that Firefly would handle it so much better..... Mal probably would have ditched the princess. But we'll never know..

Megan! Whay aren't you at work? There's nobody to bitch with.

Newsflash: At break today, G. discovered that her early riser was hot.

Elena, how long are you there today? B/c I'm planning to go to HMV after work, but that won't be until 4:30-5 ish.

Thanks for all the fish.

I'm here until 7pm. Feel free to drop by. I've got 7 sets of post cards, and need, at most, 4 sets for me and Brian and Steve and Steve's friend Albert.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Hiya. Still feel like crap, but am at work anyway. My stupid cat woke me up before 6:00 this morning AND HE DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING. He had food and water. I guess he was lonely. I wish he would just lie down on the bed or something, but no. He needs awake company, so when I don't get up, he starts knocking things off my bedside table. Grrr. t /rant

It was really nice to see you all on Friday. I am enjoying the gifties too. Thanks again.

I may drop by to pick up a postcard - depends on how efficient I am this evening. Thanks for the offer, anyway.

My stupid cat woke me up before 6:00 this morning AND HE DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING.

It must be something in the atmosphere, 'Ouise, because my cat did that to me twice last night. Actually he woke me up to inform me that he had killed his favourite toy. And he doesn't stop meowing, loudly, until I get up and acknowledge his hunting prowess. So I'm a little tired today.

I hope you're feeling better soon.
