Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Thanks, Laura. I think it went well. I'll hear back early next week. There are two other candidates for them to interview. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Megan and Sue, did you get the email about lunch tomorrow? Can you come? If not, I'll see you tomorrow night.

I just got it and just replied in the affirmative! Sue's on a course today so she probably won't see it until later.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Interview-ma, Ouise.

Sue! did the weather keep you from venturing out to find the best discount liquor??

Sue - Jul 19, 2004 11:08:06 am PDT #6465 of 6793
hip deep in pie

Iwent to the Agricola St. Liquor store and besides some winne, their discount liquor was pretty sad. I did buy a $15 bottle of white wine for $10. I didn't make it to port of wines because my friend Shannon called and we spent the afternoon together.

Tonight's Buffy on Space was Normal Again. When I first saw this episode (when Buffy switches between two realities: one in Sunnydale and one in a mental institution) I thought it would be the perfect way to end the series. Now I'm even more convinced that I'd have liked to have seen them leave viewers with a question of whether this reality was true -- a darker ending than "seeing" Buffy on Angel living it up in Europe.

Just a thought.

Ah, crap. I didn't get the job. They said it was a tough decision. Not making me feel a whole lot better. Sigh.
