Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Actually her whole wardrobe is kinda questionable, but it isn't spoilage

I'll brook no disrespect of the camo skirt, though. Fair warning. That was kickass.

Megan, that's nutty!

I still have no voice. I think I'm freaking the cats out, because the only sounds I can make are in the lower registers and even then it's pretty squawky.

I think the Archives is trying to kill me.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

just popping in to say, Mecha, loved that link, and several others, including the pinata killers. That was funny.

Also, JS, the head of Vecna was hilarious; showed the link to the husband and he was gasping by the end, he laughed so hard. (my sentence construction is awfully weird these days). He poked around the rest of the site, found the "You might be a gamer if..." list, and was reading down it, got to the Super Hero games (all systems suck). I said, 'Nuh uh!' and then he almost fell off his chair again when he got to the one that said, you might be a gamer if...'you gasped when you read all the super hero systems suck.'

Funny stuff; thanks for the links, guys.

editing because I am not a self-absorbed prat:

Megan, glad you're getting a discount on the sofa. Boo hiss on the idiot who said the apartment wasn't clean enough.

I'm sorry you're sick Sue. I hope you feel better soon.

Dani, congrats to the husband. That's awesome news. (I'd actually heard of the Michener.)

I'm made of felt and my....hey, who's hand is that?

Update on Apartment cleaning - all done now, and he signed off. He was a total spazz (snicker) about how he approached the issue, and the offer to do the work for $25 was akin to a minor extortion, but he had a legit point about the oven, and we ended up getting it clean.

Goodbye downtown, hello just-off-the-penninsula! At least now our minimal remaining energies can be directed toward improving/unpacking the house. I write this as Megan sleeps soundly on the big-blue-chair.

That big blue chair is anestheia to me! I sit in it and wake up hours later very confused and cranky.

If it makes you feel any better megan. My plans to spend the day at school were thwarted by my oh so comfy couch, and an inadvertent nap...

Thanks for all the fish.

The world's most comfortable chair. 'Tis a formidable weapon in the wrong hands. Do not ever invite Mecha to visit.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Glad to hear you're feeling better Sue.

I think the Archives is trying to kill me.

The dust can be pretty allergenic... or perhaps there's a creepy Files & Records person lurking in the stacks?

(BTW, if you & Elena are wondering who's this "Forodwaith" person that friended you on LJ, it's me - I finally got around to signing up for an account.)

I went to a going away party for my good friend that was held in one of their meeting rooms. I was getting a bit more congested as the day progressed, but after two hours in this room with a 20 year old, scary, orange carpet, and I could not breathe through my nose at all, and my voice was almost completely gone.

I still have no voice, and I'm pretty congested...if it's still gone tomorrow, I'm going to go to the doctor.

Cool!!! I'm not a frequent LJer, but I'm trying a bit more lately.

Thanks for all the fish.

Oooh - I'll scurry off to LJ at some point today.

So, this Wonderfalls show? I find myself less than interested in it. Part of the problem is that I don't really understand people who are determined to be unhappy. But my main problem with the most recent episode is that I don't really understand people for whom religion plays a part in their lives.
