You keep Alan Thicke, and We'll take Nathan Fillion back. After the firefly movie, of course.
'Ouise I saw Joanne in the mall a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't figure out why she was so familiar to me until later. If she saw me, I wasn't ignoring, just clueless.
You want Alan Thicke back?
Sure, he can become mayor of Kirkland Lake as was his natural destiny, before the whole bright lights thing seduced him away.
Didn't Alan Thicke already come back?
Ottawa in April when? I'll be there from April 30 to May 6...
We're only there for a few days, probably April 14 to 16 (haven't booked plane tickets yet).
Do you visit Ottawa often? We'll be there again in the summer to visit my parents (in Kingston) and other relatives.

Yes, please.

Not Elena, but I used to get up?(river, I think that's right) to Ottawa a lot. I love the town, if not the winter weather. I have lots of close friends who live there, but I can usually get them to visit me, these days. Kingston? Queen's grad. I loves me the Ktown. Going there this weekend.
My two co-workers are from Kingston and my DH went to RMC for grad school. Great city!
Kingston and the Sleepless Goat Cafe........good times, good times.

An idea whose time has long since come.

My old fave was the Chinese Laundry Cafe, long gone now, but I never miss brunch at Chez Piggy when I'm in town, and I'll probably hit Curry Original Saturday night for dinner with my pals. Unless we do the Pilot House. (Guinness, Combo and Chips. Thanks.)
I had a class held every Monday night at the Lonestar during football season b/c the prof was a big NFL fan, and he liked having the game come on as class ended. There were only 5 of us in the seminar, so we usually stuck around for the game (and beer, ribs, etc).
I did particularly well in that course, if I recall. =)
I also took one course at Queen's - just to meet people more my age. Nice campus.
I miss the Chinese Laundry Cafe - didn't know it went out of business either - when did that happen?
