Huh. That could... No, wait, that would mean being locked up with her for another 10 years. I don't think so.
'Objects In Space'
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Someone make me work...
I bought that TV stand at Wicker Emporium.
YAY! Where are you going to put it in your living room?
Oh, man, so first guy got the sale?
Yep, and I want to call and complain about the process since it was kind of awkward and embarassing for us and the sales guys.
Someone make me work...
Stay here with us... don't worry about the school work... internet is goooooood.
YAY! Where are you going to put it in your living room?
Ummm...well, I guess this is leading to the day when I finally throw out my futon. No one wants to sleep on it anyway. I may use the thing my TV is one now for my stereo, and put the new stand in the empty corner where my Xmas tree was.
You and Brent don't need some wooden untility shelves for your basement, do you?
Stay here with us... don't worry about the school work... internet is goooooood.
Stay back, devil in my ear!!!
I said in the Wonderfalls thread that the show felt really canadian to me. When the lead (Who's name I won't remember for a week or three) went to get money from her till at the store, I was like 'That store must give a decent exchange to have american money on hand. ... ... Wait a minute ...'
But I quite liked, and will continue to watch.
It did seem somewhat Canadian - but I think that's because of the view. I found the US money to be rather distracting.
Megan, I think you should complain. It may be that aggressive first guy shouldn't have gotten the sale at all, but second guy didn't want to fight in front of the customers. Maybe you could get the commission reversed. I really dislike salespeople like that.
When we went to buy our bed, I went in alone because the babies were fussy. Big event, everyone on commission. No salesperson talked to me at all. I found the bed I wanted, went back out to the car and got Greg and the babies, walked back in, instantaneous salesperson magnet. A woman alone is obviously not buying furniture? I guess.
You'd think that a woman alone would be in obvious need of a bed. Woman with babies? What's she need a bed for. Work's already done.
A woman alone is obviously not buying furniture? I guess.
It wouldn't surprise me if this is the thinking. In fact, today my mother went out and looked at TVs and DVD/VCRs. She came home, told my father what she liked and he went out and bought it. (It's the first new TV they have bought in 27 years). Strange.
