thioridazine? Man, who uses that anymore?
Yeah, but everyone recognizes it.
Spike, btw, dreamy. That was some quality Marsters and it's been a good long while.
'Touched'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I liked the episode, but I was mostly spoiled. I was fooled a bit by the Spike torture, but was thinking the whole time, "This is not Spike's style."
Elena, would missing one dose of medicine get her out of the sedated haze they must have had her in? That's what I was wondering.
I found I was laughing at Andrew in spite of being annoyed with him.
Sue, you've got me addicted to Cash in the Attic. Did you see the episode today? What a funny little couple! And all those irons and dogs.
I almost can't watch when they don't make thier target. I like when Jaunty is the valuer, because he's bitchier than Paul. How does one get the name Jaunty anyway?
I'm sad that I don't get Clean Sweep. Though it would probably give me nightmares.
"No, not the Harper's magazines, I haven't finished reading them."
"But they're ten years old."
"I'll read them some day."
I've found Alastair's blog .
And I knew that she was a Slayer. Doesn't seem like such a good idea now, does it? I mean, odds are you're not going to get someone as disturbed as her ever, but there are hundreds and thousands of girls running around with super powers and no supervision right now.
See, here's where the comedy lives. I saw the Buffy finale for the first time last friggin' night, and as soon as the big plan was revealed, I said to myself 'Good thing they're ending the series, cause you know there's some serial killer slayers sitting on their hands, just waiting for something to convince them to start collecting body parts and such. Something like suddenly having superpowers.' Two hours later, new Angel, and I'm screaming 'TOLDJA TOLDJA TOLDJA!' at my TV. Two hours.
I twigged to the She's a Slayer thing immediately, but the previous paragraph is likely enough the reason why. I also figured that the torturer wasn't really Spike, but still enjoyed the whys and wherefores.
The hands thing was possibly the best thing I've seen on any Joss show but Firefly ever. Wes's reactions to Andrew entertained. Good show.

Born wearing a bowtie and pocket square?
Argh! Now I have the Clean Sweep theme in my head!
You guys have this thing with asking questions you already know the answers to, I've noticed.t blinks innocently
I enjoyed last night's episode, although it could have done with a bit more Spike-maiming. Now that's entertainment! I didn't fall for the Spike-did-it fakeout becuase he's never had that sort of attention span. Nora pointed out the Dru aspect, too.
I was just happy to have more Andrew (now 82% manlier!)
Plus, the fact that 82% manlier means that his scream is only 76% more womanly than Wes's at his worst. Progress, She Wrote.
As to the maiming, I think that was about enough. I thought JM did a pretty good 'I feel the need to scratch my head, but ...' take. Very understated (for him, especially). Gotta hand it to him.
Missing one dose wouldn't have done it, unless her dose was enough to sedate an elephant. And the other patient wouldn't have seizures from getting it... Not even if it was of elephantine proportions.
I rewatched it with Brian and suddenly realised how nice it was that Spike and Lindsey have so much in common now.
Hell, Spike hired a torturer to work Angel over in In The Dark. He was clearly impatient with the process, and if there's anyone that Spike would want to torture it's Angel.

As the one during watch and post who called "false memories", I wish I had thought of this. I had a lot of the other arguments (not his style, where's Dru, etc.) but this would have clinched if I'd thought of it.
Bloody good show, Elena!
