Buffy! If I wanted to fight, you could tell by the being dead already.

Glory ,'Potential'

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Missing one dose wouldn't have done it, unless her dose was enough to sedate an elephant. And the other patient wouldn't have seizures from getting it... Not even if it was of elephantine proportions.

I rewatched it with Brian and suddenly realised how nice it was that Spike and Lindsey have so much in common now.

Hell, Spike hired a torturer to work Angel over in In The Dark. He was clearly impatient with the process, and if there's anyone that Spike would want to torture it's Angel.

As the one during watch and post who called "false memories", I wish I had thought of this. I had a lot of the other arguments (not his style, where's Dru, etc.) but this would have clinched if I'd thought of it.

Bloody good show, Elena!

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

As to the maiming, I think that was about enough.
Yeah, probably. It's just that during the penultimate episode of Buffy I hit my "enough Spike" threshhold for life. It was very nice that they killed him in the next episode -- less so that they brought him back on Angel. So I was definitely cheering for psycho!slayer. As soon as I saw the bloody cleaver I started laughing, saying "what bits did she cut off?" Good clean fun.

I can't even.

Yeah, probably

Hee. Never enough Spike maimage. The Spike hatas always need some hope for a "head and heart" slip, and the Spike woobie crowd can get some hurt/comfort luvvin.

Not sure where I hit that threshold, somewhere back around "Superstar", I think.

Thanks for all the fish.

Mecha, we've booked tickets to Ottawa from April 30 to May 6th (with a family wedding on the 1st, and my sister's baby). But if you want to come sleep on the floor - which we probably shall have to do - why don't you start thinking about coming up around the same time?

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Intriguing. Will you bring your Firefly DVD's, or shall I bring mine?

Thanks for all the fish.

The bigger question may be - does Kim own a DVD player?

Though certainly I can buy her one for giving birth, or something.

Did Brian tell you he scored a bunch of Edition 3 books on eBay?

Thanks for all the fish.

You work weekends, yes? So would you come up on the Friday (and miss work) or on Sunday night/Monday morning?

No, cool beans for him.

The costumes on S1 Buffy are among the most horrible things I've ever seen. Luke is the dumbest vampire EVER, and SMG used to weigh as much as a person. TV has taught me these things this day.

Thanks for all the fish.

Right. Leaving on the 30th, returning on the 6th a flight will be 300. And, yowza! Leaving on Sunday or Monday it's 800 plus, but expedia doesn't check Tango.
