'Out Of Gas'

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Well, that was pretty good. Dark - Funny - Explainy.

Thanks for all the fish.

Huh.

I didn't like this episode as much as I may have because 1) no hospital worth their salt runs out of diazepam. I mean, the floor stock maybe but they'd call the dispensary, not another hospital. and 2) thioridazine? Man, who uses that anymore?

Still, when Spike says that he and Angel did worse things than what happened to Dana back in the day (even though the hospital scene seems to contradict that) it does give confirmation about Spike's past.

Wouldn't his arms just grow back on their own?

Thanks for all the fish.

And I knew that she was a Slayer. Doesn't seem like such a good idea now, does it? I mean, odds are you're not going to get someone as disturbed as her ever, but there are hundreds and thousands of girls running around with super powers and no supervision right now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You guys definitely benefited from having no promo on this one. We were told she was a slayer.

Did you fall for the Spike-did-it fakeout? I did, but was mad at ME for rewriting him that way. I mean, not without Dru.

Are Vam-pires related to starfish?

I sense that there might be a Slayer uprising in the offing.

Thanks for all the fish.

I didn't fall for it. Because I kept timelining it and was all 'For it to be true, there must be Dru.'.

Did you fall for the Spike-did-it fakeout?

I'm afraid I didn't. It would have been better if he was the one who tortured her.

Would those drugs in the wall still be effective?

Thanks for all the fish.

Vampire healing, we've seen Spike bounce back from that gaping hole in his chest that Glory dug.

Thanks for all the fish.

Those drugs in the wall would not have been effective.

If they're gonna do drugs, they should do them right.

Yup. I was wondering if they were just working around a lack of Juliet Landau. But it left me with the conviction that Spike wouldn't do that sort of thing without Dru. Playing with the food is her and Angel. Spike would have seen a shiny thing, whacked her, and charged off to eat it.
