Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

So, I'm doing laundry. I go downstairs and put my stuff in the dryer. As I'm leaving I check for my keys and notice that they are sitting on top of a dryer just as the door clicks shut. So I'm locked out of the laundry room and my apartment. Brent is not home. What to do? I go to every door of someone that I might slightly recognize and knock and knock. No one answers. So I start on stranger's doors - no one answers. (I must look scary through a peep hole).

I go to the lobby and am considering how to keep the door open so I don't lock myself out of the building so I can buzz the super (who lives in another building down the street) when a guy comes in the door. I say "Can you help me?" (btw my arms are full of wet laundry, dryer sheets and downy balls) He's a gem and opens the laundry room door for me allowing me to get back into my cosy apartment.

All this felt like an hour but only took about 20 minutes.

Oh yes. I finished it around two. I even proofread it...though I'm sure there's still loads of typos. I think my eyes were crossing by the time it was done...

I can't even.

This distress wouldn't be taking place in somebody's pants, would it?

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan, that's horrid. I'm glad it worked out for you.

That was a good episode. My god, that was good.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

'Can I start getting sexed over here or what?'

See, here's the thing. For the past month or three the second highest form of Comedy in the Slanty Shanty here in Montreal has been JFK style 'IN MY PANTS!' jokes. As a result, I missed the next five minutes of the ep from choking, synapse scrambling laughter.

But wow. Another amazing episode. I need movie. Now.

Thanks for all the fish.

Wasn't it good? Wasn't it fantastic?

So that's what you meant when you said you had a party platter in your pants.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Hey, everyone! I finally got caught up on the thread (skipping over discussion of "Trash") and learned 3 things:
1. Elena's tape didn't work - oh no. Can I borrow Megan's instead?
2. Sue finished her papers. Woot!
3. Following on Ouise's comment above, I'd like to point out that tonight was the third episode in a row with a (mostly) nekkid man.

There were some decent lines in this one... I particularly appreciated "I've been waiting for you to kiss me since I showed you my guns." And please note that I am all for Mal sinning on a regular basis.

But how did Inara leaving not get addressed in the following episodes? Is this the minor change to OIS that Joss mentioned somewhere - an explanation for why she stays?
