Hey, everyone! I finally got caught up on the thread (skipping over discussion of "Trash") and learned 3 things:
1. Elena's tape didn't work - oh no. Can I borrow Megan's instead?
2. Sue finished her papers. Woot!
3. Following on Ouise's comment above, I'd like to point out that tonight was the third episode in a row with a (mostly) nekkid man.

There were some decent lines in this one... I particularly appreciated "I've been waiting for you to kiss me since I showed you my guns." And please note that I am all for Mal sinning on a regular basis.

But how did Inara leaving not get addressed in the following episodes? Is this the minor change to OIS that Joss mentioned somewhere - an explanation for why she stays?

Heart of Gold was so so good. Talk about in your face. And did you see the emotions crawl across Mal's face in that final scene. Them's some fine acting.

And now, there are no filmed Firefly episodes that have not aired in North America. Yet.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Very fun episode. But then, who can complain about a show with Miss Heather in it. SO much fun. I'd be sadder about there being no more new episodes, except that I love Objects in Space so much. I'll be sad after next week.
