This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

t mental note - keep rescue crews on stand-by so they can rush to Sue's when her VCR goes berserk and tries to kill her

I, too, shall be attempting to tape and watch. I'm not sure that my marriage could withstand another Firefly-related mishap.

I can't even.

Ahh now I see the source of those goofy hats. Their wearers aren't snowboard punks, they're closet Firefly fans!

Thanks for all the fish.

There's a fashion trend that needs corpsifying.

Y'know, there are times when being told that you're the only girl in the Universe a guy can be with is a good thing. This was not one of those times.

Oh - did you see that Tracey was Holden?

Thanks for all the fish.

You know, seeing the unaired episodes is making me unbearably sad. Because it's almost over, and it shouldn't be. It should be a third of a way through it's glorious second season.

Thanks for all the fish.

Okay, I'm going to go off and wrap Christmas presents for a certain mechanized child genius who shall remain nameless.

Ladies, we need to pick a day for a pre-Christmas get together. Shall we have breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Second breakfast? Oooh, we should have tea! Is there any place in town that does a proper afternoon tea?

And we have a date for Brian's surgery! Finally!

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

And we have a date for Brian's surgery! Finally!

Cool. Y'know, 'cause he should have someone there. HAW!

Man, Jayne's hat collection is now truly awe inspiring. I'm not even being sarcastic. Just, wow. And what's more, Wash's reaction to it falls completely in line with the Toronto Punks theory on why I should have a big fluffy pink bunny tatoo.

'My food is problematic.' See, this is the reason why this show should've lasted. Real characters face problems we can all relate to.

As if Ariel hadn't been enough evidence, Adam Baldwin is now my personal hero for the delivery on 'Maybe it's gold.' 'I got respect, but I'm just sayin' ... gold.'

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

'Twas a thing of beauty. Nora was pleased to see Richard Burgi there (she's a Sentinel fan). I thought Holden/Knox/Tracy was great. He's very good at insincere honesty (or do I mean honest insincerity?) As far as his character goes, what sort of idiot thinks Zoe is a sap? I mean really.

Also, I was figuring at the end that they decided to let him die. Do others concur, or was there some line I missed about Simon not being able to fix him up because of the new organs?

Jayne's hat was great! I just made a similar but much fancier one for my sister as a birthday present. (Ok, so I was a little mystified about why she wanted a dorky hat, but hey! It keeps the ears warm.)

I'm back. did not watch Firefly because I was too tired so I went to bed. I did tape it so I will hopefully watch it tonight after pilates. I do not want to be at work.

Hi Megan. How are you doing? (Other than the whole not-wanting-to-be-at-work thing.)

I'll be starting work next Monday. My contractor-boss freaked me out last night by calling to ask how my first day had been. I was very relieved when it was confirmed that she was the one who was confused. Got my heart going, though.

I can't even.

I didn't get a chance to get back to the Watch n Post, but I enjoyed the ep immensely. Some of the rest of my thoughts can be summed up thusly:

Hey, Holden!

Ow, the bad men hurt me. What bad men? Tim and Joss.

The ep was pretty bleak for FOX, I have to say.

"I just carried it for you for awhile."

Damn. Some people just won't be saved, but, damn.
