did you get a new cat Ouise? I think I missed something.
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
The cat integration is going well - they've met face-to-face and there was just a little hissing. All three of us (the two cats and me) had a nap in my room this afternoon. No problems.
Wow, already your cats are getting along better than mine.
Oh megan, maybe you need to drink more during work hours. You know it's not you. A good boss, a normal boss would understand that this a good career move for you. Even if she hated to lose you, she should be gracious about it. It's v. unprofessional. You can't help it if your boss is crazy and insecure.
The problem is she bad mouthed the two people that I would be reporting too and said she couldn't believe I'd willingly want to work with them. I seem to be quite succeptable to emotional blackmail.Oh, that's so rotten of her. Grrr. It is very unprofessional. Shame on her.
So yes, I got a new cat on Saturday. It ws completely unplanned -- we got a phone call at 10:30 that morning from my mother, asking if we could take in this cat. The owners, who are friends of ours, are going to France for eight months. They thought they could leave the cat with my mother's next-door neighbour, from whom they got her, but she wasn't willing. We agreed to try it out, and it's been going pretty well. We got her only five hours after the first suggestion. Very weird.
By the way, she is black and white and very cuddly. Her name is Pelagie, which is an Acadian name. We don't know what it means yet.
Ya for new cat! Maybe Max will teach her some of his tricks!
I just checked the tvguide listings and it says we get the last week's new Angel (Life of the Party) tonight.
I should have dinner. So far I have just eaten 4 pieces of licorice.

Re: Wrong episode of Angel airing on Oct 30th at 9pm EST.
We are still in the midst of investigating what went wrong here. What I can confirm is that in our programming and traffic logs episode 5/05 "Life of The Party" was listed. So the non-airing didn't happen "on purpose".
Please also be aware that our Master Control is completely automated now, so there is no one sticking a tape in who would be misreading a label. As well, our Master Control doesn't have the technology needed to put up instant scroll messages at this time (although we are in the process of changing that), so there is no way for us to inform you instantaneously when and what a problem is.
Most likely we ran into a technological rather than a human error on this one. We hope to have a copesetic solution figured out before the end of the day . . . Stay tuned.

and this: Episode names white fonted, other than the episode we will see tonight.
Hey SPACECAST Posters!
As many of you know last week's original episode of Angel (5/05 - "Life of The Party") that was to air on Thursday, October 20th at 9pm EST did NOT air. Instead the second season Angel strip episode aired at 9pm, 11pm and 4am that night.
To fix this problem and make sure our regular Angel viewers don't miss this brand new fifth season episode again, SPACE will air episode 5/05 this Thursday at 9pm EST. This means that SPACE will be a week behind CHUM's New Net Stations for the entire month of November.
At the end of November THE WB (Angel's home US network) will be pre-empting Angel for a movie presentation, so come December SPACE will be back on track and will once again air the same episode of Angel as The New Nets in the same week.
Please note the new program line-up for Angel Thursdays at 9pm EST below:
Thursday November 6, 2003:
9pm EST: Angel (5/05) - "Life of The Party"
Thursday November 13, 2003:
9pm EST: Angel (5/06) - "Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco"
Thursday November 20, 2003:
9pm EST: Angel (5/07) - "Lineage"
Thursday November 27, 2003:
9pm EST: Angel (5/08) - "Destiny"
Thursday December 4, 11, 18 & 25, 2003
9pm EST: Angel (episodes TBA)
Please be aware that depending on what the WB does the above schedule could still be subject to change.
Thanks for your patience folks! Deep Throat

I'll just watch on Mondays, I guess.
Shit - except we'll soon be getting the new Fireflys... Hmmm. Actually, not so much of a quandary. I'll gladly postpone Angel to watch Firefly.
There was more I wanted to post, but I've completely forgotten.
You know, Megan, sounds like your boss might make it to first-runner-up in the Narcissistic Queen pagent.
The first new Firefly will be November 24, according to spacecast.com
Elena, is your house full of smelly boys?
