Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

I was never as enamoured with the show as the rest of you guys but I'm sorry that I missed the two hour pilot. I guess I'll catch it the next time around.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

As much of a mark as I am for Jaynestown, I'll readily admit it's not a good introduction to the series. It's a product of what's come before, as far as The Hero of Canton is concerned at least.

And Megan, NYAH! I watched it, then realized my roommate wanted to see it but was asleep, so I went out and bought tapes, waited 'til 3 or 4 AM and watched it again while I taped it. Oh, yeah.

Right. I'm off to find an income, before I starve to death waiting for EI to be processed.

Don't forget to tell them about Debarge!

and NYAH! to you too!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The Train Job maybe? Did that one air in NA?

That was the first episode Fox aired.

Thanks for all the fish.

Woo! And did you tapers notice that it ended a full 15 minutes before the hour? Which means that the one hour eps will probably end 7 or so minutes early, which means I'll be able to fit all the episodes on two tapes!

It was so fucking lovely.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Yup! I've noticed before that Space shows very few ads - about 6 minutes per hour, I think. We taped again last night - even though we already have all the episodes on tape, some of them are second generation and look pretty bad.

The info session was totally fine. Thankks for the reassurances -- I would have been a mess today if not for you guys.

Thanks for all the fish.

Did they make you sing and dance?

Yeah, my Firefly tapes are moderately crappy in spots. And i'm not 100% sure why I'm taping when I will be buying the DVDs, but I am.

You bet.
And i'm not 100% sure why I'm taping when I will be buying the DVDs
Because it's there.

I can't even.

This, and to watch the eps again before the dvds come out. What? Do I have something weird on my face?

ETA: With Buffy, it was to watch the eps over and over with a notepad, so I could get the dialogue just so. I don't expect to be that consumed by a show again.

Well, remember for me (and Elena, I think) the question is "Why am I taping when I'm going to buy the DVDs and I already have it all on tape?"
