Yup! I've noticed before that Space shows very few ads - about 6 minutes per hour, I think. We taped again last night - even though we already have all the episodes on tape, some of them are second generation and look pretty bad.

The info session was totally fine. Thankks for the reassurances -- I would have been a mess today if not for you guys.

Yeah, my Firefly tapes are moderately crappy in spots. And i'm not 100% sure why I'm taping when I will be buying the DVDs, but I am.

ETA: With Buffy, it was to watch the eps over and over with a notepad, so I could get the dialogue just so. I don't expect to be that consumed by a show again.

Ditto. It looked beautiful. I also enjoyed the sort of promo thing that Space does just before a show comes on. I especially enjoyed the bits when Mal is jabbing the guy with the sword. Always satisfying.
