Because the gym is a critical service?
Sleep, Mecha. Call me tomorrow.
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Because the gym is a critical service?
Sleep, Mecha. Call me tomorrow.
The gym is a critical service for me, except when I don't go. Ack! What if they are shut? They're a hospital, they have to be open, don't they?
Descending into stream of consciousness, time I got unconscious.
Night.
Ouise: Thanks tons for the connection to the brother with the movingtruck. I think it's actually going to work, although some moderate to desperate communication issues are likely to crop up near the end. You ever need any kneecaps broken, you call me.Happy to help. And I will be sure to go to you for all my knee-breaking needs.
Oh my god, has Brian gone into business without telling us?
Oh my... love the music on that site.
Oh, my god! That's just eerie.
Ouise, Mecha informs me that he gave your brother our phone number in case of problems on Saturday. Which is fine, but we'll be in New York.
So, um, I guess that there can't be any problems on Saturday. Glad that's settled.
Woo! We're gone in 15 hours!
Have a good trip, Elena! I'm weirdly jealous. I mean, I'm just plain jealous of the F2F fun you will be having, but also I've never been to NYC. I have no objections to tooling around NY state, which I do on a regular basis (most recently to go to Cooperstown), but NYC is one of those places you need a friendly native guide for (in my mind), and the circumstances have never coalesced.
Of course, LA was like that too, and I went to PBP 2002 and had a blast. Guess I should be pimping NYC as a F2F locale. :)
JOHN DON'T YOU DARE!
The next F2F will be in Montreal if I have to kill everyone and drag their corpses there myself.
Not that F2F, another one. Montreal works really well for me, a city I like and driveable. What more could I ask for? (Well, yeah, Toronto, but I'll let someone else pimp that at a future date.)
Okay, now I'm imagining the Elena and Dead Buffistas Puppet Theatre:
Elena: so how are you enjoying Montreal?
Everyone's Dead Dragged Corpse: ...
Elena: Don't you mean "I'm having a lovely time, and I'm so glad you killed us all and dragged our corpses to this lovely cosmopolitan city?"
Everyone's Dead Dragged Corpse: ... [with Elena running around the room, nodding all the decomposing heads]
Too much time watching these darned shows about violence and death, I reckon.
Yes, that is exactly how I think things should go. Except with tiaras.
