Doesn't winter seem more like archiving season?

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

JOHN DON'T YOU DARE!

The next F2F will be in Montreal if I have to kill everyone and drag their corpses there myself.

I can't even.

Not that F2F, another one. Montreal works really well for me, a city I like and driveable. What more could I ask for? (Well, yeah, Toronto, but I'll let someone else pimp that at a future date.)

Okay, now I'm imagining the Elena and Dead Buffistas Puppet Theatre:

Elena: so how are you enjoying Montreal?

Everyone's Dead Dragged Corpse: ...

Elena: Don't you mean "I'm having a lovely time, and I'm so glad you killed us all and dragged our corpses to this lovely cosmopolitan city?"

Everyone's Dead Dragged Corpse: ... [with Elena running around the room, nodding all the decomposing heads]

Too much time watching these darned shows about violence and death, I reckon.

Yes, that is exactly how I think things should go. Except with tiaras.

And action figures!

Maybe you could arrange to zombify us all, that way there could be shuffling to music and dialogue. Mostly of the "aargh, streusel" and "aargh, should have been in New York" variety, but even Buffistas would lose some of their conversational sparkle after the death and cross-continental dragging, I'd hazard.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Looking forward to meeting y'all in a couple of days.(Sorry about the Southernism. I lived in North Carolina for seven years and my typing picked up an accent.)

I've got 'Ouise's number, so I think I'm set, thanks.

If anyone wants to go out for dinner tomorrow night, before Ouise's get together, email me at my profile address, or post here.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I'd be fine with going out for dinner first, as long as it's early enough that people will eat my food, too.

Mecha and Elena, I'll mention to Joe that that number won't be answered. Fingers crossed that there will be no problems.

Sheryl, I'm looking forward to meeting you tomorrow.

Megan and/or Sue - if you wanted to bring something, I'm not making anything sweet.
