I'm not a beach person either. I try to avoid sun exposure as much as possible unless I have SPF 3 zillion on. I'm up for just about anything.

I'm so very trendy. I went to a lesbian wedding this weekend. Okay, I didn't actually see the ceremony, and it was technically, a committment ceremony, but there were speeches, toasts, and gifts. Pretty close, eh?
So Friday night I was at the shoe Shop but who comes sauntering in but Cindy Day (looking even worse than she does on TV) and her boyfriend, The Coach of the Ottawa Senators. If I knew you guys were in town, Megan, I would have called you for sure...

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.
Since we can't watch the Firefly DVDs, I have copied them onto my computer for future viewing (once we get the sound card working). Who wants them next? Can we make plans to pass them along (I'm feeling guilty about hoarding them).
I made a strawberry tart yesterday with pastry cream and uncooked berries. Mmmmm.
