I think the writers may have fumbled there a bit.
Yup. And she finds the one pyramid in Sunnydale.
I wonder if Fury had to write the Buffy/Spike scene?
'Touched'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

On rewatch, I agree that the Buffy/Angel scene was a little off, but not enough to make me think that anything weird was going on.
Where was Buffy? How did she know to go there?
At the very end of the Willow/Giles scene, one of them says they need to find where the pagans of the ancient temple buried their dead. I guess they figured out where the (un?)consecrated was and told Buffy. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of clarifying lines were cut for time.
I'd've like to have seen Buffy talk to Giles or Willow. It just looked like she took the axe from Faith and bumped into Spike on her way out. Very confusing.
I'm using "Wheelchair fight?" in everyday conversation from now on.
Loved the axe fighting, but that axe was not an ancient, pre-Christian relic. It was made by John Deere. I suspect it may be part of a tractor.
Nothing runs through vamps like a Deere.
The scythe/axe thing was bugging me, too. Do they call it a scythe in Fray?
Actually, the music when Buffy found the axe was also really silly. The music for the past two episodes sound like Andrew has been chosing.
A scythe. Not the same thing at all.
Just watched, all head spinny here. The Angel scene was way off. Major FE influence in the air. I'm thinking it had to do with Caleb getting cut. Gee, do you think it is time for Spike now?
Sorry to not have any SiT corpses. Delighted to be unspoiled. Despondent that I only have one more new episode of Buffy in my future.
Glad that Xander is headed back to town, but Dawn needs to be hurt.
Also, how did Buffy find Faith and the potentials? The navigation of the past few eps has confused me utterly.
Scythes, as I understand them, have the sharp edge of the blade facing down (perpendicular to the shaft), and axes have their sharp edge pretty parallel to the shaft. Now, it looks like the axe is sharpened in both places, but the shape of the blade makes scythe action unreasonable.
I hope Angel never ends, because the folks at M.E. have no frickin' clue how to wrap up a series. IJS.
