Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Oh, on Angel, did anyone catch Jasmine's real name, or was it supposed to be inaudible?

hip deep in pie

It was supposed to be inaudible.

so, what did people think about the abundance of sex going on? I found the Willow/Kennedy scene really cringeworthy.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I thought many of the scenes, including the sex ones, just dragged on for too long. Kennedy was particularly annoying this week which made the W/K less than...uhh... satisfying for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kennedy made me scream at the TV. B/S sex would have been less wrong (but thanks be that it didn't happen) than the W/K that did.

I'm ... mixed about this ep. I feel it was inconclusive, although I *loved* Buffy not getting hit by Caleb. Honestly, if you can bob and weave and evade, it's not only frustrating for your opponent, it's much more exhausting for them, as my kickboxing teacher demonstrated for me last week. The bastard.

Giles? Evil? Why did he slit the bringer's throat in mid-spiel?

Is Buffy or is Faith executing what Caleb wanted? But it doesn't matter, since they all aren't, I think. And there are more potentials at home, just in case.

It seemed like he cut him off a but quickly (no pun intended), like he was trying to keep him from saying too much.

The "obvious" answer would be Faith. Bomb=bad ; FrayAxe=good. Could be a misdirect, but I don't think so.

I didn't think the Bringer had anything more to say, but I should probably rewatch.

He was starting to get into taunt mode with the "we'll laugh after we kill you all" kind of talk, but Giles isn't normally that reactionary. Maybe the Bringer was going to say "we'll laugh after we kill you all...except Rupert our puppet master."

Our wings are not tired.

I was taken back by the mid-spiel throat cut too. Don't know what to make of it.

I was completely satisfied. I liked all the sex. I liked the punch fests, and the avoidy fight. Giggled madly at the Mayor. I even liked Spike's speech. I'm just all aglow here.

My hope is that the Willow/Kennedy sex was required for major Willow suffering over Kennedy's DEATH.

Wasn't happy last week. Can't wait to watch live tonight although I dread the promo.

It was pretty much in a gap between sentences. Very abrupt. I want to suspect.

I think what's important is that the forces are split -- doesn't sound like Caleb accounted for a multi-pronged approach.
