Oh my god. I just checked my bank statement. My raise, which is $40 biweekly gross, give me $8.40 more on my take home.
Edit: it's not that bad, that paycheque was with a week at the new pay. I'm actually getting $20 a biweekly more from the $40

In retrospect, I should have seen it coming earlier than I did. As it was, I figured things out about the time Buffy decided they needed to go back in.
No wonder all the speechifying, it was to set up this little event.
