Well, she doesn't know Wood very well. She has no reason to expect his primary loyalty to be to her. Giles, on the other hand, is supposed to side with her rather than some near stranger.
Poor Xander. Ow.
'Lessons'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I agree, she is far more invested in Giles trust than her relationship with Wood. I hope they come to terms because I am all schmoopy like that, but I agree with her for remaining cold.
Well Wood was in on the plan. Giles has betrayed her before though. She's lied to Giles. They've all tried to kill each other. Why is this one different?
How many times has Giles betrayed her? 'Cause the only one that's springing to my mind is the Happy Birthday Hypnotism, and she was plenty pissed about that one.
Oh, and was the sound on ASN particularily low for anyone else? I had my TV at double the volume I usually have it at to listen to it normally.
I don't think it was lower than normal, but Angel is always quieter than Buffy.
I was laughing out loud at Xander's dream. And Andrew's Vulcan fight...
That's the one I was thinking of, RahRah. I guess the way I'm looking at it is that Buffy is preaching "The Mission is all" to Wood, yet she seems to not be able to resist these digs at Giles.
Yeah. I put that down to her being angry enough to get in touch with her inner hypocrite.
Heh. 'Ouise stumbled out of bed to claim that the last Hallowe'en episode was foreshadowing. She predicts that next Anya is going to die so that she can be a real angel.
Is 'Ouise still sick? Tell her to get better!!! ('cause that'll work.)
Yeah, she's still feeling yucky. I'll pass the message along.
