You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess they put the whole country behind. I explained to the Van friend that perhaps if you guys had gone to war you'd have Angel this week. Oddly, she didn't think I was half as funny as I'd been convinced I was.

Funnily enough, that was my first thought, ita. First your ambassador tells us the American people are disappointed in us, and then they delay Angel by a week.

It looks to me like we'll be behind by a week for the rest of the season, Elena.

So, now it's the time for all the west coast americans to taunt back?

Elena - Mar 28, 2003 5:32:45 pm PST #1861 of 6793
Thanks for all the fish.

Ah, well. Shades of being behind with Buffy because of Spiral. I wonder what we did to piss the US government off that time.

But we'll get it on Global on Monday

it's on ASN, but yes, we should get it Monday. =)

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh for fuck's sake! Why do I keep getting Global and ASN confused? Damn.

How's the nose, Meg?

Megan! Elena said (elsewhere) that you smell!

Go you!

(context be arsed)

She used inductive reasoning and an Ad Hominem argument. And then she bit me!

Megan, happy recovering from surgery-ing. Are the rumours true? Do you smell?

In not much more than 12 hours, I have my interview with the Bachelor of Education program. I am terrified. Please wish me luck.

Elena - Mar 28, 2003 11:57:14 pm PST #1866 of 6793
Thanks for all the fish.

Ooooh - where, Rah? MSVU or Dal? Go you! You'll do great. What colour is your hair?

How's the nose, Meg?

Right now I can't really smell a lot because my sinuses are packed with foam and assorted gore, but I can taste! Things don't taste quite right, but they definitely have a taste! I'm still taking a lot of drugs (predinsone again, another antibiotic) so I feel a lot out of it and can't think very clearly but that could also be the lack of sleep. I haven't had a lot of pain, though last night I got up to take a tylenol 3 because there was a bit of an ache returning.

Tomorrow will be a great day because then I can use saline and BLOW MY NOSE!

Elena, the doctor wrote me a "prescription" for hydrasense and polysporin and at the bottom of the prescription he wrote "Repeat x2 2/52 Intervals." Does that mean two weeks?

have my interview with the Bachelor of Education program.

At the Mount? What do you want to teach?
