Megan, happy recovering from surgery-ing. Are the rumours true? Do you smell?
In not much more than 12 hours, I have my interview with the Bachelor of Education program. I am terrified. Please wish me luck.
'Life of the Party'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Ooooh - where, Rah? MSVU or Dal? Go you! You'll do great. What colour is your hair?
How's the nose, Meg?
Right now I can't really smell a lot because my sinuses are packed with foam and assorted gore, but I can taste! Things don't taste quite right, but they definitely have a taste! I'm still taking a lot of drugs (predinsone again, another antibiotic) so I feel a lot out of it and can't think very clearly but that could also be the lack of sleep. I haven't had a lot of pain, though last night I got up to take a tylenol 3 because there was a bit of an ache returning.
Tomorrow will be a great day because then I can use saline and BLOW MY NOSE!
Elena, the doctor wrote me a "prescription" for hydrasense and polysporin and at the bottom of the prescription he wrote "Repeat x2 2/52 Intervals." Does that mean two weeks?

At the Mount? What do you want to teach?
RahRAh, Good luck! I'm sure you'll kick ass. (But not literally, that probably wouldn't be so good.)
And yay for the Megan tasting! Maybe we should all make another thai food date for next weekend.
I can taste!Woohoo! This definitely calls for a Thai food expedition. Yay!
2/52 does mean every two weeks, but since Hydrasense and Polysporin are probably not covered by your drug plan just buy them when you need them.
Thai food, hurrah!
Thanks everyone! I think the interview went fine. I was so flustered before the interview though that I was unable to leave the apartment without plucking, even though I was almost certain that the hairyness of my bosom would not be a deciding factor in their decision.* I'm supposed to hear back from them around May 1.
I'm planning on teaching history and biology in junior high/high school. The interview was for MSVU (Dal actually doesn't have an education program anymore), which was nice, because I actually knew my way around.
*I was right.
I was right.
Are you sure? Did you ask?
Are you sure? Did you ask?
Well, they didn't check. Should I have volunteered the information?
"I really have no idea what I want to get out of your program, but I guarantee my breasts are silky smooth."
P.S. Tragically, my hair is back to its normal shade.
It's worth a try. All those nuns...
