Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Andrew's fantasy seqs made me laugh so hard -- I had to pause the tape during the Trio-in-the-lab one because I was missing lines.

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, fuck, what was the line? "My master plan omits belts." Which I so want to tag.

She used inductive reasoning and an Ad Hominem argument. And then she bit me!

It's "In my plan, we are beltless." Hee.

I practically spit juice all over the monitor at that line.

I think my favorite line was

"Hey, I think Buffy's stopped talking. That usually means she had to go to work."

Though this may be because of my Issues With Buffy.

I'm sure I'll have more nitpicks after tomorrow night, but right now the only thing that bugged me was the "Oh wait, this isn't a pattern, it's a language I can read" revelation. Not only implausible, but its only purpose was to set up a fakeout. Not worth the suspension of disbelief, IMO.

I did like that Buffy, in the last scene, admitted that her speeches were all lies, and that she hated giving them.

Thanks for all the fish.

Yep. Yep.. Yep... Been waiting - hell I think I begged - for that to happen.

Yeah, the pattern/writing thing drove me nuts too. They couldn't even be bothered to have the writing only appear if you knew it was there, or somesuch thing. I'm fanwanking that the writing was hidden in the decorations. Or was very, very small. Naturally, Andrew didn't want to look at the nasty knife too closely.
