I did like that Buffy, in the last scene, admitted that her speeches were all lies, and that she hated giving them.
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Yep. Yep.. Yep... Been waiting - hell I think I begged - for that to happen.
Yeah, the pattern/writing thing drove me nuts too. They couldn't even be bothered to have the writing only appear if you knew it was there, or somesuch thing. I'm fanwanking that the writing was hidden in the decorations. Or was very, very small. Naturally, Andrew didn't want to look at the nasty knife too closely.
t /fragile justification
Or maybe Kennedy threw the knife into the fire before handing it to him...
And Kennedy's part of the inner circle again... Fuck. But did you see the quality sash work? That's talent, my man.
Oaky, I had the shower.
Now there are some serious rodent sounds coming from my kitchen. Thankfully, Pico is on the job.
The students being turned into Bringers really threw me.
Was one of them the Home Improvement kid? Zachary Bryan?
Yay for the showered Sue!
I was more pissed off with the whole "A student just EXPLODED and all you could do is shrug?" thing.
I'm with you on that one Pinwiz. Very odd episode in many ways.
Still scratching my head here. Odd. And not in a good way.
It felt kinda final. A last marshalling of evil is underway. And there was a woman at the desk when Buffy tenderly bandaged Wood and talked about the Hellmouth.
They have a destroyed school to explain. They have footage of the principal beating up students.
I liked the degree of meta, I feel like I have company in rolling my eyes at Buffy's speeches, and I truly did not know what she was going to do with Andrew (merely scaring the shit out of him didn't seem to be an efficient use of her time), and Tom Lenk sold a lot of varied stuff to me.
Plus, masturbation.
