[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Gah!
Buffy mentioned watching a reality show about a millionare!
A good episode, back to the Buffy I remember. Tops of this season in my opinion.
Just wondering why nobody's been filling the board with comments yet...
I've been waiting for the Canadians to see it so I could say something and not spoil people. i really liked it too! A
Bidet of Evil
BWAH!
My only real problem with it is that I saw that entire last scene coming as soon as the principal mentioned his mother. Ah well, at least the rest of it was both fun and actiony.
Yes. me too!
However, it did cause me to scream out loud at work, watching on my computer-- causing quite a ruckus!
No need for white font.
I was okay with the episode until the Spuffy at the end. Admittedly I was never for the Spuffy, but I really think Spuffy is past its best before date and is beginning to smell a little.
I would like to order me up a Principal McHottie.
The FE!Nikki set off my Bad Wig! alarm.
I laughed out loud when FE!Johnathon asked where Willow's gun was, because I knew Elena was shouting at the TV that very moment.
Likewise, I pictured ita swooning when she gets a look at McHottie's weaponry. (And by weaponry, I mean his knives and swords.)
I didn't like the subplot with Ashanti much. She wasn't bad, but there was just something off in those scenes. No chemistry, maybe.
I was for the Spuffy-- but somehow I have found myself not liking it so much any more. It wet on too long, it got too dark, I read way too much bad fanfic and some really great fanfic that is better than the show (Herself) So-- not so excited as I would have been in the beginning of season 6.
Maybe we'll at least get a little Hottie/Spike HoYay out of this.
Also, and I still loved it, but WTF was Buffy going on about "still in live with Spike". I mean, I am enough of a shipper to beleive that at some point last season, they could have gone with the "in love with Spike" story. But they didn't. but now they arethrowing it about like it is a known fact-- sort of like Angel's photographic memory.
Anyhoo-- it is weird.
WHY are they allowed to raise the Tulakhan (sp?) twice? That bugs me.
AND, wrapping up the Giles is alive/Spike is dechipped storylines in 30 seconds was sad indeed.
Am I the only one who finds DB Woodside's acting a bit wooden? Was the actress who plays his mother different than in Fool for Love?
Other than that, the episode was ok. I laughed outloud at a few places. Also, Andrew called Dawn a peach and in the last Angel someone was called a peach. Coincidence?
