Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I see the principle of why Kennedy's kiss "cured" Willow, but I really don't think the lines or the actress sold it. I thought AH did a great job, though.

I have to admit that the "previouslies" startled the hell out of me.

I did a fair amount of sputtering, and am wondering if all these things tie back in together towards the main plot -- was it filler? Do we have to worry about Amy, the chip and Giles' miraculous escape?

Another out of context line was Spike's reaction to having said "Who you gonna call?" First off, pretty American phrasing of the question, and was Spike really watching Ghostbusters? Better line in someone else's mouth.

I have to admit that the "previouslies" startled the hell out of me.

Sue called me during the commercial and yelled "CAPTAINNNN CARRRRDBOARRRRD!"

hip deep in pie

Like Xander?

Megan E. - Feb 04, 2003 9:44:37 am PST #1314 of 6793

Better Scenario:

Xander: Who you gonna call?

Xander and Andrew glace at each other, and answer enthusiastically

X and A: GHOSTBUSTERS!

Xander and Andrew laugh, sharing a moment. However, XAnder soon realizes he is fraternizing with the enemy and SMACKS Andrew on the back of the head.

I'm still dying to know how Giles (and for that matter Robson) survived, and if there is still going to be a CoW when this is over. I didn't like the whole kiss/cure business, and I didn't like the whole Amy is contrite, Amy knows too much, Amy set the spell logic. Why would Amy have to know about the Slayerettes in order to set her revenge spell on Willow. And her motivation (Willow has all the power)? Lame. And at least I would have liked to see someone kick the crap out of her.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I didn't like the whole Amy is contrite, Amy knows too much, Amy set the spell logic.

I'm glad it's Amy and not another "whoops, I bespelled myself again" from Willow, though.

And Buffy's choice? Let's see, repair a chip that will degrade again in two years and which has been shown to have no effect when FE takes over ole Spikey, or remove the chip from soul!Spike and never have to worry about it again. What a cliffhanger.

She wouldn't have to, at all. I just thought it indicated she was lying, and that made Kennedy suspicious.

And her motivation (Willow has all the power)?

See, I thought it was remarkably similar to Willow's attitude -- magic makes you cool, the one with the most power is the coolest. She just took it to the high school level of let me humiliate you and then I win! She has some catching up to do.

I don't think Spike wants it out, but I bet he wants Buffy to want it out.

Our wings are not tired.

I have to admit that the "previouslies" startled the hell out of me.

Oh yeah. But I really enjoyed the episode. I thought it was well paced and edge of seaty.

I always thought that Giles was alive (unspoiled but optimistic), but I thought the scene played well.

I don't like Kennedy but I bought her interaction with Willow. Of course I was shouting shoot her, but that is just me.

The army guy stuff was wierd and think could have been written better. Agree that Spike is not going to be happy about losing his chip. Huh.

Things are progressing well, I am looking forward to watching it again tonight. I will have to adjust the brightness to see stuff though.
