Ah, Jess... I dunno... I didn't like it... There is one moderately good Giles moment... But... You can taunt if you download it.
'Objects In Space'
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
You can taunt if you download it.
Yeah...but it's still got another hour and a half to go. I don't think I'm willing to stay up that long waiting for a mediocre-at-best episode.
If you want my opinion (and, since you asked, I guess you do) it's on the 'bad' side of mediocre.
Jess, I think it can wait until tomorrow too. And on your new TIVO, you can FF the stinky parts, and rewind the good ones!
So..I'm about halfway through downloading this. Should I even bother letting it finish?
I really don't get the cynicism. I loved it. I was even halfway spoiled for it, and it threw me at a couple points. I'm adoring Kennedy (although happy to see the others out of the way,) loved the scene in the Initiative, thought Adam Busch was great, liked the return of Amy. Doubt it'll ever be a favorite ep, but I enjoyed it muchly. Probably more than anything since CwDP.
I don't see that it's cynicism because we disliked it. It's preference. Also, I just keep waiting for something to happen all ready.
I didn't hate it but like Elena I kept waiting for at least one of the storylines to be resolved, and not by using fairy tale standard "kiss her and she'll be all better" storyline.
As Elena's polar opposite on the Willow question, I did get more enjoyment out of it than she did but I'm not buying Willow with a Kennedy type. It made me miss Tara all the more.

I don't buy it as a LTR, but I'll buy it if it ends up being presented as a rebound.
I see the principle of why Kennedy's kiss "cured" Willow, but I really don't think the lines or the actress sold it. I thought AH did a great job, though.
I have to admit that the "previouslies" startled the hell out of me.
I did a fair amount of sputtering, and am wondering if all these things tie back in together towards the main plot -- was it filler? Do we have to worry about Amy, the chip and Giles' miraculous escape?
Another out of context line was Spike's reaction to having said "Who you gonna call?" First off, pretty American phrasing of the question, and was Spike really watching Ghostbusters? Better line in someone else's mouth.

Sue called me during the commercial and yelled "CAPTAINNNN CARRRRDBOARRRRD!"
