Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

'Harm's Way'

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Your mom got a cat!? That's great! She must have really missed Clio and Pico when they came back home.

I sense that bacon sales are going to rise in your hometown.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Vonnie, thanks! It was lovely to see you, and I hope we get to see you again! I'm glad it all went well. And yes, no Sunday shopping sucks. I think Sunday is the worst possible day to have no shopping and would gladly trade it for no shopping any other day of the week. Blech.

Yeah, stupid god, with his dumb 'rest'. I find going to Ye Olde Comic Shoppe pretty durn restful.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

Which comic shop, MechaK?

That reminds me, I should swing by Wilkie's some time and see what the owner thought of the list I dropped off.

I frequent Strange Adventures, and while it is open on Sun, it's only for 4 hours. List?

She used inductive reasoning and an Ad Hominem argument. And then she bit me!

So, during the final fight was anyone else thinking

It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that Connor, son of the champion, took up his father's sword....

Or he would have, anyway, if Angel hadn't nabbed it first.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I did squeal "Narsil!" at about this time

Strange Adventures is a little... confining and gloomy for me. Can't really explain it, but I usually go to Wilkie's, or Mirror Universe if I'm looking for games.

The list is a list of comics that I got in a raffle. About 1100 in total, some rare and some not so much. Mostly Marvel, but all kinds of random stuff. I could use some travelling cash for my going back to the States in a week or two, so I dropped off a list to see if they were interested.

Cool. When I moved to Halifax Wilkie's was HORRIBLE. Now, I'll go there for my second hand RPG needs, but SA treats me real good. And they have the cute girl with the green hair.

Strange Adventures has a doggy!
