Strange Adventures is a little... confining and gloomy for me. Can't really explain it, but I usually go to Wilkie's, or Mirror Universe if I'm looking for games.
The list is a list of comics that I got in a raffle. About 1100 in total, some rare and some not so much. Mostly Marvel, but all kinds of random stuff.
I could use some travelling cash for my going back to the States in a week or two, so I dropped off a list to see if they were interested.
Cool. When I moved to Halifax Wilkie's was HORRIBLE. Now, I'll go there for my second hand RPG needs, but SA treats me real good. And they have the cute girl with the green hair.
Strange Adventures has a doggy!
Strange Adventures has a doggy!
They do? Is it usually in the store? I've never noticed it, but I'm certainly capable of missing that sort of detail.
The owner, Cal, has a big sheep dog. it's usually only there during the week, when Cal is working. You couldn't miss it since it begs for treats from everyone.
Ok, I guess I've just never been there at the right time. I'm sure I'd have noticed a sheepdog!
You definitely would have noticed it. The dog is very large and moochie.
I like Strange Adventures best, too. They've got a wide range of stock, and I like the atmosphere there (and the dog).
Have we at all used the mailing list? Because I haven't received any mailings, and figured it was hotmail, so I reregistered from my yahoo account.
Anyway, we should make plans for before Griff goes away.
At the moment, only one person is listed as a member, and that's Megan. She's the moderator, so she has to approve every addition.
Ah, I see. Well, then, Ms E, I've registered twice. Please approve me. Damn, that sounded needy, didn't it?
