Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Lots. Possibly not. No, it was done quite openly. Sure would explain a lot.

Good morning:

I got home at 9:00 last night and today I have to be back at the job fair for 7:30. I've been up since 5:45.

However, Job Fair has been a rousing success so far. Lots of complements on everything and only one irate teacher crashed.

Oh, and the best part is I already have 10 hours of overtime this week, at time and a half. Today I'll get another 8-10, and tomorrow, I'll probably get a few hours at DOUBLE time. So far, including today, I've made an extra $500.

Worked 10 hours today. HAVE TOMORROW OFF! That's nice because I thought I was going to have to work 19 days in a row.

Thanks for all the fish.

I'm glad the fair is going well, Megan.

Are you taking money or time in lieu of?

Megan E. - Jan 19, 2003 6:52:33 am PST #1086 of 6793

Money because I still have about 10 days of vacation left and 5 days of overtime.

I didn't think they'd let you take money. Whoo! Drinks on Megan!

Well if they don't they better give me the rest of the year off. I've been given the money for overtime before and S. said there's lots of $ left in the budget. That's good since they are going to owe me the better part of a grand (most of which will go to taxes) but we really need the cashola right now.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Megan, that's excellent that you're getting extra money. Also, congratulations on the job fair going well. Go you!

Tomorrow I have an all day "Respectful Workplace" session. I think it will be boring, but at least it will be a change.

I watched 28 Days yesterday with a friend. It was interesting to see Viggo Mortensen and Alan Tudyk in different roles. I hadn't realised that Azura Skye (Cassie) was also in it. I enjoyed it.

Were you still at LeBistro when I talked about watching part of it on the French Channel?

I thought that was her, but it was hard to tell with the dubbed french voice.
