Kaylee: H-how did you... g-get on...? Early: Strains the mind a bit, don't it? You think you're all alone. Maybe I come down the chimney, Kaylee. Bring presents to the good girls and boys.

I didn't think they'd let you take money. Whoo! Drinks on Megan!

Well if they don't they better give me the rest of the year off. I've been given the money for overtime before and S. said there's lots of $ left in the budget. That's good since they are going to owe me the better part of a grand (most of which will go to taxes) but we really need the cashola right now.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Megan, that's excellent that you're getting extra money. Also, congratulations on the job fair going well. Go you!

Tomorrow I have an all day "Respectful Workplace" session. I think it will be boring, but at least it will be a change.

I watched 28 Days yesterday with a friend. It was interesting to see Viggo Mortensen and Alan Tudyk in different roles. I hadn't realised that Azura Skye (Cassie) was also in it. I enjoyed it.

Were you still at LeBistro when I talked about watching part of it on the French Channel?

I thought that was her, but it was hard to tell with the dubbed french voice.

No, I had already left. She does have a very characteristic voice, doesn't she? The first time I saw her was on Smallville, where she was massively annoying. Once I saw her on Buffy I realised that it was only her character that was annoying. I like her.

Sorry I inadvertently spoiled you, Megan.

That was pretty good. I figure Elena must have liked the end.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

Just finished watching. Glad to see Clem again. Although the new SiT wasn't much of a surprise for me, it did make for one of the better episodes of the season. At the end, I have to say 'Go Xander!'

Pardon me now while I listen to Ideas on CBC.

Edit for whitefonting problems.

I'm listening to IDEAS right now! AIFG!

I'm surprised the early bird downlaoders aren't here.

Um, Griffyn, you need to close a tag. And you don't need to whitefont here. That's why we have our own thread!

tag fixed....fuggadaboudit!

Thanks for all the fish.

I did like the end, Sue. Which is good, because the beginning drove me fucking nuts!!!

I mean, the whole Dawn being chosen... When they were talking about how rushing Dawn might get her killed I was chanting 'rush! rush! rush!'.

Also, Buffy left the girls in the crypt and then she and Spike just left to go with Xander? Or did we skip the scene where they waited outside to make sure the girls were safe?

So have we absolutely decided that Spike's chip no longer functions? Because he hurt hat girl (why the fuck won't Chloe take off that hat?)... I know he killed people, but that was when he was being controlled. And when he hit Xander, during the Friendly Giant episode, the chip went off.

I really, really noticed the shout outs... Namechecking episodes Living Conditions and Gone. And the whole egg smell thing might have been a reference to Bad Eggs.

There was at least one more, which I can't remember right now.

Listening to the CBC. I am hearing them talk about metaphor and not bludgening with the message.... Yeah, not last year.
