hee...brenda. x-post with Natter.
I watched that ep this afternoon. Still good!
I love the voiceover in "Passion." Damn, that Angelus is so gleefully evil. I love Boreanaz when he gets to really run with Angelus.
The Angelus voiceover is one of my favorites, but I also really like the Buffy VO at the very end. The part where Willow's trying to teach and Buffy is talking about how she's accepted that she'll never give him back always gives me chills. Of course, every time I hear the Angelus VO about how life without passion would be easier, but we'd be dead inside, that always strikes home too.
Why is this kind of television no longer on, except in re-runs???
That episode also marks the debut of Willow's chilling cries of "Noooo!" which appear again in "Seeing Red." Still cuts right through me.
They keep saying that they're going to air the unaired episodes of Tru Calling.
They said that about the unaired eps of Firefly too.
I actually saw a Season 1 DVD of Tru Calling in Best Buy the other day. I was pretty surprised since I didn't figure on it having as a vocal a fanbase as Firefly or Wonderfalls, though I guess I was just being elitist.
There are actual fansites, Kalshane. And petitions to save it. It baffled me.
Of course, there were also petitions to cancel it.
I certainly never loved it, but I stuck with it till the bitter end, long after I realized how bad it was. It got better, but too little too late.

The surest way to get a devoted fandom to hate your new show (Point Pleasant,) is to blame it for the cancellation of their show (Tru Calling.) Gail Berman should know that by now.
