Some of it is very arch, which I can kinda see, but then there's the heart or the autumn one (it looks like calendar, doesn't it?) which aren't so coy at all.

Some of them looked like deliberate recreations of other shots or paintings, too. (I could only look at the thumbnails, the scans were waaaay too big for my poor widdle dial-up connection)
There was one in particular that, in the thumbnail, looked like a recreation of an Olivia painting.

My twelve year old cousin has been staying with us while she's on half-term, and has apparently started watching Buffy recently as Sky One is showing reruns every day. Part of our conversation went thus
Jars - So who's your favourite character?
Cousin - I like Spike. I think he's really good looking. Buffy should be nicer to him.
