Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it had damned well better have the 99 episode previously frames at the beginning of the The Gift.

Isn't that an easter egg on the S7 release?

Art Crawl!!!

That's what I heard.

What is even happening?

It would be nice to have it attached to the beginning of Episode 100, though. That's where it belongs.

Who? moi??

Remember, that L199 is in pounds, not dollars.

Art Crawl!!!

Right -- it's even more expensive in dollars.

What is even happening?

Yeah. I think right now, that would be about $350, American. The thing is, those of us who don't have multi-region players can't buy that release, anyhow.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

$353.36 to be exact. But, buying all 7 seasons, costing 40-50, it about evens out, I think. I'd do it.

What is even happening?

I'll do it, once it's released here, if for no other reason than DVDs just aren't kid proof. Scott and I try to keep the good DVDs out of the kids' reach, but once in a while, we'll leave one in the player, and Chris will get at it. So far, only children's DVDs have been casualties to the children, but the day will come when one of my Buffy's suffers the same fate.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

The UK discs all have previouslies. Which is a total pain in the arse for every episode except The Gift (do you want to see Anya saying "we're dealing with a Big bad who can be any dead person it wants" every time you watch any s7 ep?) but really, really comes into its own with Ep100. It's the most exciting start to any Buffy episode, and makes the counterpoint of the teaser - we're back in the iconic alley one last time - that much more lovely.

Trust my rage

The UK discs all have previouslies

I don't really get why they put these on here for exactly Jim's reason. I've been watching nip/tuck, which has previouslies, and they are so irritating. If you just watched the previous ep, who needs a reminder.

On my Sopranos DVDs they sort of have a happy medium, where you can chose to watch the previously as a separate menu option.

I own all the other Buffy seasons, but I could see myself selling them and buying the set, just to have it. (Don't think I'd admit that anywhere else.)
