"You know, I was watching Buffy S2 last night w/ a friend. We'll call him Samantha." - Smonster

Madrigal - Your suggestion of adapting Danny Boy is highly appropriate. Been singing to myself te past few minutes. Methinks I have stumbled upon some therapy.

Don't make me come down there!

I have a stomache ache and I can't tell if it's from the Spaghetti-O's I ate (don't ask - random craving) or if it's because I'm freaking out and my body knows, but my mind hasn't realized it yet.

"You know what they say about payback? Well, I'm the bitch." - Fred on 'supersymmetry'

"But now I am moving to California, and Buffy is ending, and I will have no more Tuesdays with Smonster. A time is drawing to a close. In a way, tonights Buffy finale is a finale for a part of my life. "

Samantha, I SO get how you feel! And where are you moving to in California? I'm in LA - Venice Beach. One of my friends might start showing the DVDs starting with Season 1 on Tuesdays, which will help with the sense of loss. I haven't seen all the seasons, I think I started watching during the next to last season on the WB. But I did a lot of catching up on FX when I had it.

"It seems fitting that I finally had my first dream with characters from the show last Sunday night. "

Right on! I went to bed last night and thought really hard about the characters to see if I would dream of them, but no luck. I dream in Buffy whenever my mind wants to, not when I choose to.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I've been thinking "Danny Boy" because Darla sang it to Lorne when she was pregnant, and I thought Angel ought to have considered naming the boy Daniel in honor of the song, and as a way of appeasing Holtz - a gesture that might have made him reconsider the whole kidnapping thing.

I'm moving to a town called Monterey, it's south of San Francisco some and way north of Los Angeles. It's on the water - the Pacific Ocean, in fact. The sun sets over that, too. Nuts! West Coast, sweetie, West Coast. Which is good, 'cause it's gonna be different, but bad because I don't know how my Bostonian ass is going to handle being so far away from well, everything.... but then again I am living in North Carolina now and that hasn't been too bad, if you ignore the fact that they don't have Dunkin Donuts down here (or at least one that will make your coffee the right way) and people try to be pleasant 24-7.

The buffy dream was good. It was me and Xander and Spike doing our thing. Very realistic. Not uncommon, however. The interesting thing was SMG's appearance, and my making a meal of her, so to speak. Now that, my friends, was shocking. You never know who will appear when. i was delighted. It was as if, as they say in French, mon premier pois a pousse.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Can't say it's what my list would be, but "Family" is the only surprise choice. Although even that is critical for one of my favorite arcs, the blossoming of Tara.

And I love how the Scoobies embrace Tara (and sort of re-embrace one another) in it. I cried at the end - floaty dance schmoop and all. I think dh was a little misty, too. But he'll never admit it.

I 've been hands under the shirt, over the bra, Calvins in a wad on the front seat with some S7 Buffy spoilers - but we never went all the way ~tinaf

Hi all, I just wanted to pop in an add a big giant *sigh*

  • SIGH*

I've been at my parents house so I haven't been posting because, well I haven't gotten near the computer. I will probably be around after it's all...over...and wow that is highly upsetting to type. I guess I at least still have Angel for the time being, some people I know don't even watch that. I've been lurking but not commenting, but I get a general sense of sad, and hey I'm right there with you!

I tried filking John Mayer's "No Such Thing" from Xander's POV, because whenever I hear it, I get a Xander video montage in my head. There's a slight problem with filking it though. Looking at the lyrics, I think he frigging wrote it for Xander.
