Fox has ordered more scripts from a proposed show of Marti Noxon's called Point Pleasant.
Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
Wow. This "magical consequences" episode, after Bargaining, was so forgettable I actually forgot about it.
ETA: Except the end. The "I was living the good life, only, you know, without the living" part. I remembered that bit. Rather crucial to the whole season.
Ooh, I liked that ep. It was scary with the vase-throwing Buffy and the face-cutting Anya.
Possessed!Anya with the glassy white eyes and the floating and cutting her face with a knife while cackling was forgettable?
You and I have a very different threshold for creepy images—to me, that's one of the strongest in the entire run of the series.
Possessed!Anya with the glassy white eyes and the floating and cutting her face with a knife while cackling was forgettable?
Jesus Christ monkey shit. That fucking creeped the hell out of me.
Creepy. But, ultimately, I forgot about it. I mean, it scared me again, because I had absolutely no idea it was coming. But the episode as a whole? Rather boring, I thought. And it almost feels as if most of the people are actually worse actors than in earlier seasons, for this ep. Especially AH and AB. JM is pretty durned good, of course - he always is - and I actually liked MT in the episode.
Then again, that last scene in the episode is actually one of the few things I have a strong memory of from this season AT ALL until the musical episode. Except for the first Willow/Tara fight, memory thing. I guess we probably meet the Trio or something, but I don't remember.
I may not have paid much attention, as I watched Season 6 (downloaded, pretty poor quality) and Season 1 (DVD) simultaneously, with Season 7 airing. Buffy overdose, continuity confusion, may have made me gloss stuff over. Especially since, at that point, I had not seen Seasons 2-4, and much was lost on me.
Finally watched my tape of Monk last night -- it was fun to see EC on tv again.
Also, a friend of mine pointed me to this story of Seth Green's near-death experience.
Wow. Didn't something similar happen to Viggo when filming Fotr or TTT?
Yes -- it did. It was that scene in TTT where Aragorn floats down the river.
Apparently it is less easy to float while wearing armor and he sank, and then got caught in an undertow and couldn't get himself back up.
What if NZ is trying to become some sort of hottie Bermuda Triangle? I'll note if it is, it seems particularly focused on those hotties what warm the cold cockles of the Buffistas' brittle hearts. Perhaps we need to send a task force?
