Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
Thanks, Cindy. I'm not in very many threads any more, I didn't know whether (and where) this had been mentioned.
It seems that part of the ceiling collapsed at the theatre where Alyson Hannigan is doing "When Harry Met Sally", during a performance. It doesn't look like anyone was severly injured. Creepy, I was just there a couple of months ago.
Here is a link to the story.
I caught "Doppelgangland" on Fox tonight, and I was pissed off by the fact that there were cuts! Gone were the Willow/Anya exchange of "So tell me, is it dangerous?"/"Oh, no."/"Well, could we pretend it is?" and the Xander punchline of "Can you believe the Watcher's Council let this guy go?" Grr!
All of the syndicated episodes have cuts, but they appear random and viscious.
They also cut the part where Angel says "Well actually..." If I recall..

Have they checked on John Larroquette?

HEE!!!
And just wanted to raise my hand as someone who enjoyed some of the last 2 season of X-Files. Some - I didn't watch it every week. But I really liked the whole pregnant!Scully, alien babies thing, and was subsequently enraged when she gave him up for adoption - because aliens couldn't find him just because he wasn't with her?? Made me crazy. Grr.
However, I also didn't watch any X-Files until those last two seasons, so I suspect had I seen the "good years" first (I saw quite a bit in reruns last summer while home on maternity leave, attempting to instill genre love in the baby :) ) I wouldn't have enjoyed them at all.
For anyone who might be interested, the first season of Manchild, the recent British series staring ASH, is being released on DVD for the US on August 10th according to Amazon.
woo hoo! Once again, it occurs to me I get too excited by TV. But, yay!
