Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I caught "Doppelgangland" on Fox tonight, and I was pissed off by the fact that there were cuts! Gone were the Willow/Anya exchange of "So tell me, is it dangerous?"/"Oh, no."/"Well, could we pretend it is?" and the Xander punchline of "Can you believe the Watcher's Council let this guy go?" Grr!

All is well that ends in pizza.

All of the syndicated episodes have cuts, but they appear random and viscious.

They also cut the part where Angel says "Well actually..." If I recall..

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

a chandelier dropped 1.2 metres (four feet) before being caught by a safety rope.

as a friend pointed out, police want to interview a man in evening dress wearing a white half-mask.

Flames wouldn't be eternal if they actually consumed anything.

HEE!!!

And just wanted to raise my hand as someone who enjoyed some of the last 2 season of X-Files. Some - I didn't watch it every week. But I really liked the whole pregnant!Scully, alien babies thing, and was subsequently enraged when she gave him up for adoption - because aliens couldn't find him just because he wasn't with her?? Made me crazy. Grr.

However, I also didn't watch any X-Files until those last two seasons, so I suspect had I seen the "good years" first (I saw quite a bit in reruns last summer while home on maternity leave, attempting to instill genre love in the baby :) ) I wouldn't have enjoyed them at all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

For anyone who might be interested, the first season of Manchild, the recent British series staring ASH, is being released on DVD for the US on August 10th according to Amazon.

Delayed thanks for the XF info. I'm still obsessively enjoying 24, but I'm sure I'll get to it eventually. Hockey season is just about done.

I open doors for everyone and I know that doing something kind is it's own reward, but there are some folks that could use a refresher on the concept of saying thank you.

I hate that FOX edits the Buffy eps so they can jam in more commercials and yet I cannot seem to start my day without having it on TV while I go about my morning routine.

I had never heard of Manchild so I popped over to to BBC America to see what's the what and uh... *blinks* I don't believe I've ever seen ASH like that. *blush* Wow.

It's a really great show, and that is just a bonus. Unfortunately, it only lasted for two seasons.

I got my Season 6 DVDs today! Wheeee! There's an insert card that announces Season 7 will be released in October. Then my Buffy collection will be complete! (Seasons 6 and 7 may not be favorites, but I must own them all!) Once I get Season 7, I'll start from the beginning watch them all. I can't wait!

I'm so tempted to run home after work and watch Once More, with Feeling!
