Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is Life Serial the one with the Death Star van? That cracks me up.

The Death Star Van - w/the soundtrack-playing horn, Andrew bursting out with "Scully wants me so bad", the Better Bond fight.

DEMON!Jonathon: I am well struck! I call on the misty portal to my demon dimension, where I will lay my head and gently die. (throws smoke bomb)

I should not be reading the Life Serial script - I should be packing....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hate "Life Serial" - except the Mummy Hand. Probably my least favorite S6 episode. Which is interesting because S6 has by far the highest number of completely polarizing episodes: Wrecked, Seeing Red, Gone, As You Were.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

Put in the the loved "Life Serial" camp. Funny, funny stuff. Plus, kittens!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think they took a lot more risks in Season 6 than in any other since Season 2, and the latter was of such uniformly good quality that almost all the fans fell to the loved side of the loved it/hated it spectrum.

All in all, I tend to prefer that they shoot for the moon and have a spectacular failure than see them playing it safe and becoming dull and boring*. Even the magic crack and Actual Car Crash were preferable to 12 hours of Buffy giving pompous speeches to a houseful of nameless interchangeable girls while Andrew walked around with a neon "Übernerd" sign flashing over his head.

* This is almost always true except in the case of the abomination perpetrated upon Cordelia in Angel Season 3, which so enraged me that if "Provider" had aired before "Waiting in the Wings" Joss would have lost me as a viewer at least until everyone told me that Angelus was coming back in "Awakening."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Buffy gagging every time she has a drink whether it's on screen or off? Hee-larious.

Yeah, that was funny. But see, I remember really liking "Life Serial" when I first saw it. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood today, but it felt so interminably long. It does have its amusing bits.

Watched "Once More, With Feeling" for the first time since it aired. Amber Benson has a fantastic voice, wow.

Strawberry disappointment.

I really liked season six.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really liked season six.

As do many, myself included. Among general fandom S6 is a lowpoint. Among discriminating hardcore fans S5 is the least liked. Or that's just my opinion, then I backed it with imaginary fan support while stenciling "discriminating" on my forehead.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Among discriminating hardcore fans S5 is the least liked.

Now knows how Hec has me cross-ref'd in his files...

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm testing out a new website that has 100 MB free web space.

I've uploaded my original "chosen" screencaps to try it out. If this works, I may be able to keep more caps online at a time and reference them from my main website.

I think they look dark. And orange. It could be my monitor.

ION? I may have found a way to screencap again. Especially since I'm less insane from the uncontrolled diabetes thing.

Oh, and here they are.
